Miss Sosua contest... thoughts

On the last trip a few of us kicked the idea around of having a "Miss Sosua 2009" contest. The general idea is a beauty pageant/ bikini contest etc.

Thoughts were to have a few contests over the course of some months.. June, July, August etc. Top three or so would advance to the finals that would be held toward the end of the year. We're talking more high end on the scale that your average affair.

The event could be sponsored by the New Garden. Guests staying outside would have a cover, which would allow for good prize money to be paid. This wouldn't be as private of an event as 3somes bash that many of us attended. Other guys off the street attended that, but most were in-house This would be at least lightly advertised etc. It also wouldn't be byob for random guys coming in. People would be encouraged to at least have a beer or two from the bar, and not lug in a case of Presidente off the street. I know that New Garden is open to the idea of an event that was win/win for everyone.

I'm looking for positive as well as negative feedback. It might be fun to have a longer running event I think, and visiting ISOCers can provide photos of the various contests that they catch in the DR on trips. I've never been to the DR when at least a few of us weren't in Sosua.

If there is enough interest etc, I'd be willing to present it to NG formally and get it off the ground. I'm always up for a project that involves a large number of attractive women. ;)

All can be done, however, you should realize that Chicas will not wait months for a prize, they come and go. If u have enough guys like we did last month it can work, losts of chicas will show up, and all we were doing is throwing a party. I would not advertise BYOB, cause the NG will wnat to reap some profit, and the bar is the way to do it.

That's my thought, not to have byob. You make another excellent point Jimbo about girls being migrant. It would have to be something serious for prize money to get them to repeat I guess. Even then... it's hand to mouth for most. They don't think much farther at time than what or who they are doing that evening.

As for the bikini thing being played out, it may well be lol Thus I ask if it should be attempted :) They always seem to be fun though. Besides, jello wrestling it too fucking much work!

I think it would be a great idea. The NG bar and waitstaff will make some extra money and I would think that even the non winning chicas could pick up some quick jobs. If I'm in town, I will definately partake. My next trip isn't until Oct though.

Well, after a much needed rest, I am back to haunt the board again.....I love the idea of a bikini contest at the New Garden.. I won't be back until next January, or February, so I would love to see something for then, so that I could schedule my time appropriately

If only for the fact that the contest will concentrate the hoes in a central location for a specific amount of time to be jumped up on.

It's probably best to do a one day deal with a sleep over the night before with welcome party at a local venue other than Clasicos or Latinos. Secrets would serve the purpose. The cash prize would have to be large enough to attract talent from POP, STI and SDQ. You could offer free room and board to a select few with two contestants per hotel room. This would allow you to conduct interviews for the worthy a week before the contest. A few radio spots in your target markets would be a must. Understand you'd need at least 10 days on the ground there to pull this sort of undertaking off. Hiring a couple of local producers and a professional MC would also be a plus.

but unfortunately it doesnt work as well with these Girls, because we already KNOW they are Putas so the whole mystery of "how far will she go" is gone, but it could still be fun, since it involves PARTICIPATION.
And if it leads to an open air DICK SUCKING CONTEST.... Oh well........

Bikini contest are just something to do in the daytime. Sosua can get real boring during the day. Newbies will see something different and chicas will make some money and recieve free trinkets.

If you are bored during the day....hit the beach. There is always something going on down there. My favorite times have been afternoons on the beach finding old friends and making new ones.
