The resizing seems to be off, will look into it, but I do have it set to resize pics since some people like to upload 2048X1536 sized pics!

The VB Image Host instructions say that the maximum dimensions allowed are 3072 x 2304 but it will not accept anything like that size (not that I would want to upload anything that big).

Also its says that the max filesize is 3072Kb which is a bit of a coincidence. Is that a typo? It seems far too large.

Am I correct that VB Image Host resizes everything to 600 x 450 (unless already this size or smaller)?

DT, what dimensions and filesize for the original picture to be uploaded do you recommend, to suffer the least loss of image quality on VB Host?

Ok I set the size to 1024X768, but not everyone has high resolution monitors.

What I found with the resizing so it doesn't corrupt/stretch/skew the picture it resizes based on the lowest ratio.
Example:
Jayman's original picture = 768 X 1024
Original Resize settings = 800 X 600
Height ratio = 800/768 = 1.041
Width ratio = 600/1024 = 0.586
So the resizing function applied 0.586 to both width & height. If it had applied the resizing to only the width (since height was within specs) it would have been a very warped (tall/skinny) picture.

As for size, the true size it accepts is like 2144Kb due to memory constraints, which is still a HUGE picture.
