A woman who dodged death when she and her husband narrowly missed Air France Flight 447 before it plunged into the Atlantic Ocean, killing all 228 aboard, was killed in a car accident just over a week later.

An Air France airliner carrying 228 people from Brazil to Paris crashed into the Atlantic after a possible lightning strike.






Johanna Ganthaler (http://news.insearchofchicas.org/topics?topic=Johanna+Ganthaler) a retiree from the Bolzano-Bozen province, was on vacation in Brazil (http://news.insearchofchicas.org/topics?topic=Brazil) with her husband Kurt when the pair miraculously missed the doomed flight to Paris. But their luck ran out on an Austrian road earlier this week when their car swerved into the path of an oncoming truck outside the town of Kufstein, the Times (U.K.) reported (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article6479203.ece).
Kurt Ganthaler was badly hurt in the accident.
Flight 447 disappeared from radar shortly after leaving Rio de Janeiro and is believed to have broken apart shortly after it left the airport in Brazil on May 31 with 228 people on board.
Some three dozen bodies have been fished out of the ocean where the Airbus jet plunged into the water. A nuclear-powered French submarine has begun scouring the seafloor for any sign of the black box, which could hold the key to determining what felled the plane.
The Ganthalers flew out of the country on a flight the day after the jet went missing.

now that's fucked up, forreal. She escaped being on that plane, but the grim reaper was still after her, and it got her violently still. Just like Final Destination which will be coming out with a new installment soon. Saw the preview in the movies last weekend.

This reminds me of a similar story in the last terrorist attacks in London a few years ago, where there were 2 or 3 explosions in underground trains and one on a bus.

There was a guy that missed a train just for seconds, the typical situation where the train shuts the doors when you are running to it, and the train blew up inside the tunnel, so they closed the station and the guy went out looking for an alternative way to get to work, he phoned his office saying there had been some incident with the trains so he was taking a bus instead, so he'd be a bit late – he happened to take the bus that was blown up too and died in it.

It looked like it was his fate that day! Scary shit.
