Abreu

Has anyone ever been to Abreu. What is the town like. Is there any nightlife there. Sometime I like to see the smaller towns. They always have hidden wonders and a lot less expensive. I hope Abreu is the same.:corky:

Damn, you are going downhill fast. First it was Puerto Plata (God's own city), then Cabarete, now Abreu.

Don't tell us you will be living in Abreu? It is a huddle of shacks between Rio San Juan and Cabrera. You will find one or two bars in those two towns but nothing aimed at gringos. In Abreu itself you might get lucky with a donkey or pig.

If you are really going to live in Abreu (why?) I suggest you ask for information on DR1 in the "Travel: North Coast" section and head your thread there "Abreu" .

Abreu isn't even a town, it's more like an "area"
