Billy Mays, the loud, fast-talking pitchman who epitomized the infomercial spokesman, died Saturday at his home in Tampa. Mays, who would have turned 51 Sunday, was found by his wife. Police do not suspect foul play.

Just another reminder of how money don't mean shit.

Enjoy your life while you can. Doesn't mean you shouldn't have a lil' something stashed away for a rainy day, but i know too many people thinkin' they gonna take it with them when they go.

Billy said in an interview that life had been very good to him, so I think he probably enjoyed life more than most. I know he was pulling down some serious money doing his pitches.

For a guy who started on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, he did ok for himself.
Infomecials make a LOT of money. He was one of the few pitchmen who was believeable, like he really used and believed in his products. (unlike the Shamwow guy who is a total fraud)
Nothing wrong with the way he made his money. Its as Amercan as apple pie.
