A paid advertisement by RRS Energia Electrica ENEL establishes that the private electricity company headed by engineer Radhames Segura has always adhered to Dominican laws and principles of integrity since its founding in 1987.
As reported in Listin Diario, the company has a wide and growing customer base and has carried out operations worth RD$1.69 billion, which is evidence of its "degree of operational consolidation."
Its clients include the Supreme Court of Justice, Grupo Corripio, Grupo Vicini, companies belonging to engineer Miguel Vargas Maldonado, the former Baninter, Banco Popular Dominicano, the former Bancredito, Cerveceria Nacional Dominicana, Tricom, Codetel, Plaza Lama, Induveca, Megacentro, Gildan Activewear, Siemens, Westin Roco Ki Resort and Cemex Dominicana.
Segura heads the state-owned CDEEE, which oversees the operation of the power distribution companies, hydroelectric companies, transmission lines and several generation plants.
