My research informed me that Feb. 27 is independence day in the DR. Is this a good time to go to Sosua? Also, does Sosua celebrate Carnival? If so is it the same week as independence day! I am booking tickets and would like to visit during a lively season! Any help would be much appreciated!

You can go anytime of the year an you'll have a good time because the weather is hot and the ladies are dressing less. The clubs will be jumping..

You can't begin to look at all the women you'll see. Take note though, they won't be whores, but a smile and a nice disposition will get you a long way..
