In an effort to make as much as I can from a potential 3 month holiday in Sosua, can anyone recommend a language school there (preferrably one-on-one tuition).

Thanks!

Right next to the Sosua Bay Hotel and the Victorian House Hotel is also a language school called Casa Goethe which offers all different kinds of spanish courses.

Thanks for all you recommendations. I've checked with both schools. The prices seem fair. Prices are higher than in Colombia, which I thought was a little odd, but affordable nonetheless. Cheers.

you are right they even offer german and english classes to dominicans as well. If i recall right the owner of the school is the same guy that owns the Don Antonio hotel in Sosua.

Thanks. Apparently the 2nd school is one I stumbled across located in Cabarete. All the teachers are American or European women--that kind of kills the point of studying in DR.

At casa goethe management is from germany but all the teachers are dominican, besides that they offer language courses in Santo Domingo as well.

Thanks. As long as they have native and experienced teachers, I'm happy to study with them.
