Sosúa is proud to announce that one of its residents will represent the province of Puerto Plata in the forthcoming Miss Teen Barizon 2009 competition. The candidate is a beautiful girl, barely 16 years old: Sophia Angélica Brockmans, who is the daughter of Raphael and Alexandra Brockmans, the owners of the well-known Morua Mai restaurant located at the beginning of the Calle Pedro Clisante.
The competition looks for more than just a beautiful face, and will also test the candidates' intelligence, personality and language skills.
