Cristals, Crystals, Mustang Ranch, FOD ?

Just trying to get this straight:

Is Cristals (the disco) very close to FOD? and both are close to the airport ?

also:
- Crystals Mustang Ranch was a hotel, no reopened as Field Of Dreams

- Cristals is a disco with private rooms for $100 per hour and a high take out fee. but great looking chicas.

Is Cristals (the disco) very close to FOD? and both are close to the airport ?

Cristals is a bar/brothel/stripclub rather than a disco. You rarely see the customers on the dancefloor and that is usually when they are drunk and clowning around.

It is about 4 kilometres from Field of Dreams (and nearer the city centre).

Field of Dreams is about 13 kilometres from Puerto Plata airport (which is much nearer to Sosúa than to PP city).

Correct. Dominican Billy created FoD as a motel-type place for mongers about five years ago in association with Alberto Noesi. They had previously opened the Sand Trap hotel which later became Barba Negra (Blackbeards). Two years ago they sold FoD to the Cristal nightclub people who changed the name to Mustang Ranch and made some upgrades but failed to make the place a commercial success. So they sold it back to Alberto a year ago. He has made further improvements and the place looks just great right now. With the special offer of US$29 a night it is excellent value for those wanting a quieter environment.

As Carolina Jack correctly pointed out in another thread, Cristals screen who work there so the average standard is bound to be higher than (say) Classicos. Out of the club and in daylight without their (usually overdone) makeup they are just an average to good selection. Not sure what it costs extra to use the rooms onsite. I guess nothing extra. Few of us would consider the chica's fee plus the high salida add up to a worthwhile deal, but it a pleasant place to spend a couple of hours watching the chicas dance nude.

Cristal is great for two big reasons:

1. It's an amazing place to introduce a newbie to the island. He walks in, and suddenly is surrounded by 20 absolutely beautiful women (with respect to Weyland's taste in ladies). It's just as much fun for me to watch his eyes pop out of their sockets as it is to smash some cutie yourself... (which brings me to my next point)

2. Comparatively speaking, Cristal has great quality control. You get a girl upstairs, her body is as advertised. There's no "I sorry I ha' bebe" as she disrobes and everything heads straight to the floor.

If you're fun and engaging, you'll have fun upstairs. Otherwise, they can be a bit mechanical, but it's less of a problem when you're standing behind them (and therefore having fun upstairs). :lol:

Here's the best part. All you need to do is get/give a few numbers, which is easy, and they'll meet you after hours or during the day. Or, just pay attention to the girls in there, 'cuz a bunch are headed to Classico's when they get off work, and that way you know you're getting what you pay for.
