Journalist Odalis Mejia reports in Hoy today how important drug or money laundering cases seem to vanish in the interest of the authorities to resolve them. "The investigations are advancing," seems to be the catch words that the authorities use when asked for an update on these cases. She points out that from July to present, an estimated 20 small planes are known to have made clandestine drug shipments. But she says there have been arrests in less than half of these cases. She says the disappearance of evidence is common.
