Cologne Sniffing Scam (From ISG)

Got this off of ISG.

There is a new hustle going around the DR. It works like this. A person approaches you asking for you to smell this cologne they are selling. The cologne has an intoxicating effect, which disables you temporary. They then proceed to help you, when in truth they are robbing you. Watch out for sniffing cologne you don't initiate.

heard something similar like that going on here in Florida...but instead guys are trying to rape girls with it. im not sure of the validity of this though as i have not heard it from/through a reliable source.

It called Burundanga drug.... and it comes from South America.

It puts you in a HIGHLY Hypnotic Subjective State....with that said they can talk you into giving up your things and walk you to an ATM to get your money.

Now with that said , since it's a Hypnotic Subjective State you will not do anything that goes against your true nature so they can not force you to kill someone ( unless it's in you to do so ) and that is why you hear about people being mugged , but not raped.

Be safe......... it can be put in your drinks , placed on a piece of paper, in a Cologne, in a candy or cake....

I will like to add some people say it is not true but only an Urban Legend, but i believe it's true, but i think it won't work on everyone the same , like all drugs it works in degrees from person to person depending on the amount used and it's potency.

I would like to add.....Here in the DR there has been cases but more in Venezuela and Colombia much much more........

Yes, I heard about this happening in Colombia...and I heard about it from a Colombian doctor. It can be delivered in a drink or inhaled in a mist. I was told to watch out if you see coming at you with a mask over their nose or covering their nose. They may squirt an atomizer in your face. The doctor told me that she had heard of girls putting it on their breasts and getting a guy to lick her breast...That's one I'd fall for.

It is like a sedative and you are functional but compliant and won't remember anything. They may lead you to your ATM machine or whatever.

That doctor told me a humorous story that happened in Colombia. Some guy walked into a hospital seeking help and acting like he was drugged. He claimed he didn't remember anything for 3 days. They contacted his wife but then the doctors became skeptical of his story. Pretty much the consensous of the doctors was that the guy had gone on a 3 day "get-away" with a girlfriend and now needed a cover story to explain his absense to his wife...don't know if he pulled it off.

It also happens in Brazil quite often. In Brazil they call it Boa Noite (Good Night) in Portugese.

to mi knowledge this hasn't hit Jamaica yet.......and this would be perfect for dem hustlers der for their scams........so mi would suggest to lookie out for this der too........it's just a matter of time before it shows up.........

though the new drug in Jamaica is laughing gas......people take hits of it at parties and get goofy for a likkle bit.....unfortunately mi know a person that has died from it cause him took it when sitting around some rocks on the cliffs and fell on dem rocks with his head.......that was the end for old Peter.......who owned the Wild Thing sailing tours in Negril.........sad but tru
