I'll be in Sosua on Saturday, Oct 31st...Yes, it is Halloween but it is also the evening of the Oregon vs USC game that starts at 8pm. My question is if there is a sports bar in Sosua where I can watch the game?

The Shark Bar (Lou's place) and Eddy's Sports Bar (go down the street where the Super Super is...it's on the right).

I don't know about Eddy's anymore, when was the last time you were there? Some Germans took it over a while ago, and they very seldom had on American sports, unless someone took it back over, I am talking about a year ago.

Speaking of sports bars, does anyone know how the progress is going on that supposed Hooters Restaurant down the block from the New Garden is proceeding??

It's been longer than that since I went down that street that far. It was changing then.

yes the Germans have taken over Eddy's as well as most of that street when mi was there last month.........most everything on the blackboard menu at Eddy's was German Food......and it's a little expensive........just like the place across the street

Unless you are talking about the great big hotel next to the Valeria...I didn't see anything that looked like a Hooters going up around NG last week.

If you are talking about the big hotel.......construction appears to be going on quite well. They are working on it every day and from the road it looks they have really cleaned it and put a ton of money in it.

I think Koki took a tour through it a few weeks ago and may have more info.

Shark Bar is probably your best choice. Go talk to Lou in advance and verify hes showing it. If not maybe he can put it on one of the tvs for you anyhow.

I think I saw the NBA finals at Latinos too...at the end of April. Course, the whole world watches the NBA finals. I'm thinking I'll be the only one in Sosua interested in PAC 10 football.:(
