Hey there,
So this weekend, as you know, because it's your birthday, loads and loads of people worldwide got together to celebrate with hundreds of near-simultaneous midnight theatre screenings of Serenity (http://www.cantstoptheserenity.com/), proceeds to go to your favorite charity, Equality Now (http://www.equalitynow.org). There's simply a lot of love there -- Equality Now are huge fans themselves, and your speech there recently (skip below the jump, I've got a video) was just perfect. There's love, and because of the power of your storytelling outliving all of your creations, now lots of money, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Love and money, and stories about amazing women. I say again -- there's nothing wrong with that.
If that were the whole truth, though, why would I be writing this?
