Venezuelan investor Luis Emilio Velutini has told Listin Diario that the Blue Mall shopping center that is being built on Gustavo Mejia Ricart and Winston Churchill avenues with an investment of US$100 million will be opening up in time for summer 2010. He said that 100% of the commercial units have been rented. The mall will bring many new brand stores to the Dominican market.
He also announced that starting next year they would also begin construction of the Blue Mall Punta Cana, covering a total area of 100,000 square meters and with 33,000 square meters of store space, a US$60 million investment.
