Former Central Bank manager Apolinar Veloz has been appointed by the International Monetary Fund to a high position in Africa. He had reportedly not been successful in finding an adequate position in the local employment market after leaving his official function reportedly because of his involvement in the Central Bank when the Baninter fraud was made public.
