District prosecutors say that they have arrested the person who is believed to be the owner of a black 2008 Grand Cherokee LTD, license plate G200389, in which Jose Figueroa Agosto reportedly escaped pursuit by the authorities. As reported in Diario Libre, Juan Jose Fernandez Ibarra was arrested yesterday. The SUV had been abandoned on Roberto Pastoriza Avenue, when Figueroa was able to flee on foot. Fernandez Ibarra is also being held for acting as a front man for an apartment on Av. Pedro Henriquez Urena suspected of belonging to Figueroa Agosto. The interior decoration of the apartment was allegedly paid with a check in the name of one of Figueroa Agosto's wife's false identities to Fernandez's wife, who is also believed to have decorated an apartment belonging to Figueroa Agosto in Torre Bolivar.
