Civil society groups coordinate aid

Representatives of more than 200 civil society organizations, aid agencies and institutions such as the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, the European Union and the United Nations met yesterday in Santo Domingo to discuss aid to Haiti. The meeting was organized by the Citizens Forum and took place at the Alternative City headquarters in the Luperon sector. The organizations expect to have a work plan for coordinating aid to Haiti from the Dominican Republic by Friday.
