National Drug Control Department (DNCD) and Migration Department agents arrested two fugitives from Swedish justice in the city of Puerto Plata on Tuesday afternoon. The arrested are identified in El Dia as Safa Kadhum and Bulent Aslanoglu. They were being sought for their involvement in one of the greatest robberies in Sweden, where they made off with 30 million Swedish krona (more than US$4m) on 23 September, using a helicopter.
