The official term is bain-marie, but "food warmer" will probably work too!

Don't worry about it too much Jimmy. The food will stay warm for hours if you use the aluminum baking pans ($3 to $4 at any supermarket) covered with aluminum fool. This works reallly well with baked pasta dishes.

I'm guessing in the DR people cook with iron pots and pans. Those retain heat for long periods of time (it has to remain covered) as well if that's the case.

Now if you guys going down to Sosua can pick up 2-3 and drop them off that would be great!

Those are like $2 to $4 bucks each. They can also be found at any Party supply store. I'm planning on going to Sosua sometime in april or May (although it doesn't look like its going to happen because of a career change) and would bring some. I would also help cooking too if I'm there when it happens.

More cooks means more nights with Pasta. Maybe one night it starts at 10PM. Real food at midnight in Sosua, could you picture that! 8)

Jimmy has clothes in DR that he keeps in his house so he only carries a back pack... I overpack and carry 2 suitcases filled with clothes for 2 weeks... I change at least 2 times a day... some guys smell like shit but dont change for a few days cause they dont give a shit...

I usually wear shorts and tshirt during the day but at night i like long pants and a button shirt. Some long sleeved but most short. Sandals and dress shoes are a must. a sweater or sweatshirt for cooler times is smart. BUT I USUALLY OVERPACK!

For May i'll be reducing the numbers and have laundry done. rocky's has a good laundry service for guests.
