Dominican demonstrations of solidarity continue. Following the example of the first stores to turn their efforts to help Haiti into their main message to their customers, the business organization that groups the DR's leading malls, ONEC, announced that its affiliates would be collecting goods for sending to the country's main aid collection centers. ONEC president Pedro Perez said that the decision enables Dominicans to easily and safely channel their solidarity while shopping. These include Carrefour, La Cadena, Pola, CCN and others.
