I tried the schnitzel there last November and it was delicious. The schnitzel at Hotel Romanoff costs less than the schnitzel at Schnitzel Paradise and you got twice as much meat as Schnitzel Paradise. The meat covered the plate.

Sounds like the schnitzel they have at Rocky's as well. Had to take part of it with me.

The first time I had it was at the old Passions location. I then discovered that Baileys made it good also.

Romanoffs had the best Schnitzel that I have tasted in Sosua, and the diff sauces are very good. and Ive had some of the best fom all over Europe. Schitzel is not as easy as it sounds, and it has to be served HOT.
If its re heated or DRY, its dogfood as far as I am concerned.
Have not tried all the diff WURSTS at Romanoffs, but I will next time.
Arty , at the Black Box makes a nice Schnitzel in Paprika sause.
Have not tried Rockys, but also intend to.

You're right, dry Schnitzel...not good at all. I had some that was room temperature and dry (can't remember where it was, not the D.R.). I've rarely had to spit food out, but I had to that time...that shit was disgusting. There is a Purina factory near where I live, and occasionally the smell leaves you nauseous. That smell is what bad schnitzel tastes like.

Schnitzel is delicious. If you like chicken fried steak you'll
like schnitzel. Chicken fried steak is basically schnitzel
with regular beef instead of veal so it's cheaper. Of all
things Germans immigrated to Texas and brought their
recipes with them of course. And I'm glad they did. This
evolved into what we call chicken fried steak today in
the states.

Sorry I can't help it I'm a history geek.

Schnitzel Paradise on Pedro Clisante has three types of
Schnitzel. Including the cream gravy type. Wonderful.

I had my first schnitzel with Jimmy at Baileys back in 2005 I believe. Had heard the term before but never had one. Wasn't too bad but I definitely never crave one.

Now a good 1/2 bbq chicken from a good chicken stand I definitely crave. Havent found a chicken place like they have there back by me yet.
