Newbie Report.......1/18/05 THRU 2/05/05

I went to SD 1/18/05 thru 2/5/05 for the first time.I met some friends there who are veterans and they helped me out alot.
I ended up staying at 4 hotels while I was there for various reasons.The first was the Apart-hotel Esmeralda off of Maxima Gomez.I paid 150.00 for the first week.It is chica friendly and had all types of rooms from apts to small rooms without kitchens.I left because they would'nt turn on the generator during the blackouts.
I then stayed at the Napolitano on the Malecon.It was 90.00 a night and modern in everyway.Good clean rooms.They were remodeling while I was there and the noise during the day sounded like I was in the middle of a construction site.That and the 20.00 chica fees was the reason I left.
I stayed at the Contenental on Maxima Gomez.75.00 a night with breakfast and chica friendly.But the place is right out of the 1950's.No updates whatsoever.Not many people there.
I went to the new Marriot Courtyard on Maxima Gomez.Great place.79.00 on weekends and 90.00 during the week and chica friendly.

During the day my friends and I would go up to the Conde Plaza.We met many pro,semi and non pro chicas there.We would meet them on the park benches around the Columbus Monument.I went with 3 from there.I liked doing the daytime action because I'm an early riser usually and did'nt want to wait for the late action.The first one I had I overpaid. 1500p and not worth it but I learned from this.You can get them there for 500-1000 pretty easily.
One girl I met there confirmed to me all the things you guys have been saying here on the board.I would meet her everyday for real gfe.It got to the point that I was'nt paying a thing.The only problem was that we could'nt communicate.One day when I came back to the hotel she was there with her mother,sister and daughter.They were all dressed up.I was shocked!I told my buddy to tell her in spanish the my american girlfriend was here just to get her out of there.From then on every time she called on came to the hotel I blew her off.

Other places I went:Remington Palace was a great place!I got swarmed as soon as I walked in the door.My veteran friends did'nt prepare me for that.I did'nt take anyone out.I planned to come back another night but did'nt get around to it.Many 8,9 and a few 10's.They want 2000p.It's a 9p.m-12p.m and 12 p.m to 6 a.m timeframe for takeout.
We went to a place called Felix Cache on Maxima and Nicholas.It does'nt open until 12 p.m.Bad neighborhood but there are a few good ones in there.200p bar fine and never more that 800p for the the girls.
We also went around to the casinos at night.Saw some working girls at The melia for 1000 to 1500p.
The best looking girls I saw were at the Mona Lisa MP off of Indepencia.They start at about 4p.m and the house wants 3000p.They were'nt interested in neogotiating but we were'nt very persistant either.All in all a great trip!I'll be going back.Hope the exchange rate gets better though.

Seems like you paid a lot for the hotel rooms... try to search the SDQ area threads for cheaper places or ask some of our southern vets here.. they would be happy to help especially after u posted ur report!.... There is no separate SD Trip Report section. Why? Because few to none frequent SD on this board. Therefore, few to none have anything to report about on SD.

Beas.. the hotels in SDq are a bit expensive.. the aparthotel Esmeralda is cheap as I take it he paid 150 for the week! Remember that SDQ is a big city and not like Sosua at all..
