No, they are not expected. They are just hoping to seperate dinero from your pockets. However you wouldn't believe the response if you give a chica a small present (especially a non hardened chica). Small stuff like lipstick, stuffed animals, etc. Stuff found at a dollar store. Do not go to Neiman Marcus buying presents!

Can you give an example of what you mean by a small gift? Knowing how women are, I have never met one to turn down any gift of value, but since you asked we should make sure you are talking about something normal.

My post was about gifts in general. I didn't realize this was the massage section. Reading really is fundamental, isn't it.
