Jail order for bank robbers

Judge Richard Quino Natera of the province of Santo Domingo has sent 8 men to jail for a year. The men, suspected of involvement in an armed robbery of the Banco Leon branch at Km. 7-1/2 Carretera Mella, are Air Force Corporal Gabino Manzanillo Mercedes, Ademi bank guard Ramon Carrasco Feliz, Rosa Esther Delgado Beltre, Jose Luis Sanchez Cabreja, Jose Manuel Alcantara Pena, Danhny Alberto Pichardo, Luis Dionisio Costa and Maria de Jesus Florian. The authorities say that a ninth suspect, Victor Jesus Recio, is on the run.
