The Athletics Championships for North America, Central America and the Caribbean will be held in Santo Domingo at the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium from 7-9 July. The Member Federations indicated that they anticipate fielding some 493 athletes at the fourth edition of these area championships; along with officials and other accompanying personnel, the total number of attendees could well exceed 600. 28 of 32 member countries are expected to send athletes. Athletes will be lodged at the Dominican Bay Hotetur Hotel in Boca Chica.
