I'm putting together my first trip, on the spur of the moment. Are there any hotels close to the action with oceanfront view, or are they all $200 non-friendly places?

Caberete has some hotels on the water. They range from $50 to over a $100. You can party at Hotel Aventura which is 7 minutes away.
