Hotel Monumental

Just ordered some rooms at the Hotel Monumental on El Conde for the Aventura concert this weekend.
Anybody has an update for this hotel ? I understand it's chica friendly, but you have to pay 10 dollars. Is this still correct ?
Tried first Hotel Roma, but they were full booked.

The hotel was ok, but nothing more. It was clean, had aircondition, and tv. Just one bed and a chair in the room, no decoration or anything, small room and small bathroom. Good location in the middle of El Condo. Paid 45$. They was supposed to have rooms for 35$, but understood those were no good. I will think Hotel Roma is a better choice, but they seems to be fully booked most of the time.

Had the same problem myself this weekend. Ended up staying at the Palacio. Am told that a lot of aid workers for Haiti are taking up the hotel rooms.
