Former Environment and Natural Resources Minister Frank Moya Pons testified in court yesterday in relation to the Samana rock-ash case. The hearing took place in San Francisco de Macoris, according to a report by Diario Libre. Moya Pons denied any responsibility in the case and stated that the accused, Hector Ledesma, acted independently as he had the power to issue the permit for the deposit of the material. The case hearings continue today.
