According to the Central Bank, inflation continues under control, despite the increasing price of fuel and the effect of higher prices on products in general. The Central Bank reported that the Consumer Price Index increased by just 0.8% in June, bringing accumulated inflation for the first half of the year to 3.5%. This compares to last year's 7.4% inflation. The government has estimated that the year-end inflation figure will be 5-7%.
