Just lost 50% of the hearing in my right ear!

Well yesterday actually. I made the mistake of telling the novia, over the phone, that I just bought us 2 VIP tix to Aventura saturday night. $6,000 pesos each. I figured since I will actually be in town for valentine's day I might as well make it a great one.

She screamed so damn loud into the phone I still have a headache!

I am thinking nice dinner at Antonio's, Don Nestor, or maybe the restaurant at Hotel Santo Domingo, then off to the concert. Maybe a few cocktails at Beer House after the show.

Maybe she won't be as bummed that I leave on monday for almost 2 weeks. Miami, Medellin, Bogota, Cali, Miami. . . . .. then back home. . . . .

I got them at the ticket express office on tiradentes. They only had terreno and VIP. I believe you can order online and they will deliver but I don't live that far so I just ran over and picked em up.

There were scalpers in the lot selling em as well but don't trust them.

If you definitely want them I could run out and get you a pair.

Not sure how many people the olympic stadium holds but it will be damn near sold out. . . . . . .I bet a single guy would do real weall at the show. . . .IF. . . . he didn't mind the chica closing her eyes and thinking about Romeo;-)

I could have seen them recently at Madison Square Garden, and all I had to do was foot a dinner bill for me, the GF and another cpl, but i declined cause last time I ent to a latin concert at MSG, Frank Reyes, and some of my fave Bachata songs came on, and started dancing, the security made us stop. Who the fuck wants to go to a concert, and u have to just sit or stand in front of your seat. MSG sucks as far as a concert goes. hell, even sucks now with their shitty B ball team.

Well the concert was fantastic. They started 8.30 and ended 12.pm. The sound and scene show was perfect, played all the hits. Lots of beautifull chicas. A realy great experience.

Yeah I had the privilege of attending as well, met up with P2 prior to the concert and joined him and his novia for a good steak dinner, real nice night, and a real good performance. The chicas were going crazy, and they were loud as hell. A lot of fun.

Want to publicly thank Prty2 for his help, it was appreciated.

However I ended up NOT going even though I was in SD this weekend.

I had planned to surprise my regular with VIP tickets, hopefully without losing 50% of my hearing, so on the drive down, whenever an Aventura track was on the radio, I dropped a few hints of how cool it may be see them in concert. She enthusiastically agreed.

On arriving in SD, large posters advertising the concert were everywhere, so I turned onto Tirandientes and ended up at the TicketExpress place, where I confessed I had reserved tickets and we were going to see Aventura.

All was going to plan, or so I thought.

When she realised the price was RD$12,000 for 2 tickets SHE absolutely refused to let me spend that much money.

What a girl!!!

We ended up seeing Avatar in 3D at Acropolis Mall and still got caught up in the post concert traffic.

Me and my friends had the terreno tickets to 1600 pesos, which was the medium priced tickets, and that was very good. An experience i realy wouldn't been without.
