After several flights had to be cancelled due to the snowstorms along the east coast of the United States, air traffic is now back to normal, although some minor delays are still expected. Listin Diario reports that flights from Santo Domingo to New York that had been affected have now resumed.
JetBlue, Continental and US Airways flights departed on their usual schedules to New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia. Incoming flights were full, as they were bringing passengers who had not been able to travel after thousands were affected by Wednesday's flight cancellations. On Wednesday 15 flights to Las Americas and one to Puerto Plata were cancelled.
