The eagerly-awaited concert by Dominican-American bachata superstars Aventura shook up the Olympic Stadium and the estimated 60,000 people who filled the place to the brim. Puerto Rico's Wissin and Yandel closed the show.
The mostly young crowd was completely captivated by the Kings of Bachata (K.O.B.) and the performance of their show, "Ultima Aventura". The group, which has played for the US President and millions of people worldwide, performed all its best-known songs. Their breakthrough number "Obsession", "Mi corazoncito" and "Solo por un beso" were among the most applauded.
Few incidents were reported, despite the huge crowd: some people showed up with counterfeit tickets and the Red Cross had to treat several young girls for dehydration.
