Dominican-born Al Horford, fresh from his first All-Star appearance, established a new career record of 31 points in the game against the Los Angeles Clippers yesterday in NBA basketball. It was his game No. 200. Horford was key in the 110-92 victory by the Hawks. During the game, Horford made 12 of 15 shots from the floor as the Hawks closed the halftime 56-44 l with 17 points in the lead.
"The guys were finding me and I was getting a lot of good looks," he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I was finishing plays and making them pay."

Dominican fans will be able to see Al Horford in action at the Centrobasket 2010 scheduled for 5-11 July 2010. Horford is scheduled to play for the Dominican team in the event.
