Yesterday, the Center for Exports and Investments (CEI-RD) and the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD) agreed upon a group of initiatives to promote the development of national exports and take greater advantage of the free trade agreements signed by the country. The agreement was signed by Yandra Portela Vila, President of the AIRD and Eddy Martinez, Executive Director of the CEI-RD, and includes the preparation of a manual for Dominican exporters, as well as the implementation of export plans for small and medium-sized businesses. Diario Libre reports that the agreement includes studies and activities of higher potential Dominican products in international markets.
