In yesterday's meeting of 834 of its 1,478 registered delegates, the higher echelons of the PRSC minority party announced their alliance with the ruling PLD. The PRSC was favored with PLD party support for their candidacies in three senate seats, 32 deputy seats, 26 city mayors, the second national deputy, 56 municipal districts, 217 councilors, and 229 municipal district spokespersons as well as 4 seats in the Central American Parliament, Parlacen.
The PRSC said it would run alone for 8 deputy seats, 19 cities, 31 municipal districts and 119 councilor seats.
The deputies to the Parlacen are Carmen Mirelys Uceta, Eduardo Read, Benny Metz and Ramon Perez Fernandin.
For deputies, the PRSC will present an alliance for Victor Bisono in the National District, Sergia Elena de Seliman in the National District, and Guido Cabrera and Ramon Ricardo Sanchez for La Altagracia.
The delegates granted full powers to their party president, Foreign Minister Carlos Morales Troncoso to negotiate the alliances with the PLD.
