Correct me if I'm wrong, but I would say that picking up a girl in Sosua, at Classicos, for example, the "average price" would be between 2,000 and 3,000 pesos for todo noche (all night). If they perform well and don't try to take off right away in the morning, I'll give them 3,000 pesos, no problemo.

Now if you go to some places where puta work for the "house," you're probably going to pay closer to 4,000 pesos or $100 US. I've been to Sosua 3 times and I've never picked up a girl at "Passions" and I don't think I ever will. Though I have picked up some chicas at a little bodega in Cabarete where girls work for the house.

I think if you offer a girl who performs well 3000 pesos for toda noche you won't have to worry about her walking off with any of your stuff because she won't feel like you cheated her.

Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Also check out the Terra Linda hotel. Its ahd a lot of posts on ISOC. I had dinner there. Great food. Pool area looks excellent..Some rooms on the street could be noisy. Ask for one at the back. Front desk guys name is Andre..tel 809 440 7270. He told me $60 inc Breakfast..off to meet a new chica now..I love it here..so easy to meet the woman..

Voramar has girls on the website called Poolcats and you should just forget about that. They are probably 3 years older and fatter now. Plus who cares if they make money off the girls only what you pay is important.

I love Passions and don't give a damn if Peter makes half off some or more or less of others as long as it doesn't change what we pay.

Also Voramar is way down on the edge of town so you would need to drive at night and I don't know about you but I like to leave the car parked after 10pm.

All i want from a Hotel is to be safe, Near to the bars and resturants, Pool and pool bar and if there are any Ladies to chat to, than thats good too, Just dont want to be hassled to much , just want to chill out and enjoy

Its a ways away from the disco and the beach but its just a moto away if you dont have a car, no big deal. there are some chicas hanging around at night by the bar, usually ok looking and good service. i like to stay there but i have a car or a scooter all the time. the reason i like it is that its far away from the strip and i can relax without any hassles. if your a first timer i would stay a little closer to the disco and the action. you will also learn a lot faster that way. ive never stayed at new garden , but its a good choice for your first trip. lots of help and close to everything, plus if you dont know spanish you will get more help. if you are gonna want to relax and get away from all the non-stop action Voramar is great.

the apartments also have no air conditioning, but they have a ceiling fan. when you are going will be right in the middle of what little they have of a season change. depending on how much you need air conditioning you might want to keep that in mind. That's exactly the number: six-day work week, 6,000 RDP/mo. I know for a fact that that is the pay rate at Bar Centro, also.
A bit off-topic, but for comparison I know that waitress/puta/taxi-dancers in the smaller Puerto Plata bars earn between 1200 and 1600 pesos per quincena (half a month) for seven day week, 8 hours per day and 10 hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

Most would be lucky to get 200 pesos per week tips (nearly all from their few gringo customers) so they rely on sucking dicks in the back room for 400 to 500 pesos or salidas (500 ST for Dominicans, usually 1000 for gringos). This is not just a "gringo tax". Many of their Dominican customers who can afford to pay for sex have jobs and families to get back to in a hurry whereas gringos may want to make full use of the 3 or 4 hours they have bought at the cabaña. Anyway most Dominicans idea of sex is to jump on, pop as soon as possible, and jump off like a jack-rabbit, so the girl is back in the bar in well under an hour.

(Incidentally, sitting at the bar at Passions watching guys go into the back rooms with their chosen chicas and come out grinning within ten minutes, I have been surprised at how many gringos follow the same pattern).
