The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Rosa Margarita Hernandez Caamano, wife of banker Manuel Alejandro Grullon, as Dominican ambassador to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) based in Paris.
Victor Grimaldi was approved as ambassador in Greece in addition to his responsibilities at the Vatican, and the Senate cleared the appointment of Alexander de la Rosa as ambassador in Turkey.
