National Choir performance

Be inspired by the voices of the National Choir that will perform on Thursday, 4 March at 8:30pm at the Maximo Aviles Blonda hall of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. The Maximo Gomez fine arts palace will be the setting for the performance that marks the 55th anniversary of the choir. Choir director Jose Enrique Espin said that it would be a night of the best of the choir, with performances by the Philharmonic Orchestra and violinists Caonex Peguero and Aisha Syed. Also conducting that evening will be Julio de Windt and Jacinto Gimbernard, and lyrical singers Ondina Matos, Nelson Veras, Vivian Lovelace and Frank Leedor will make guest appearances. The program includes both classic and popular works.
