We were standing in line and the car returns. They do not let us board, instead this guy jumps on to the top of the car with what looks like a motorcycle tire turned inside out. he went up to the tower for "Maintenance". Instills a lot of confidence....

He was the day I was there. Hitting the obvious tourist/gringos. My novia is Dominican so he didn't approch me. (less of a mark).

Mr Happy is right. Best to be there just before the ticket office opens on a day when the mountain is free of mist to beat the queues and enjoy ida y vuelta with clear views.

Went there with 3 Dominicans. They wanted 100 pesos more from the gringo. I explained the gringo was payin and if I had to pay more nobody was goin......they relented
