1,200 kg of cocaine seized in Spain

Police in the Spanish city of Valencia discovered 1,200 kilograms of nearly pure cocaine in the false bottom of a shipping container that had been transported from the Dominican Republic. The container, which was addressed to a business in Madrid, arrived aboard the Nordsea, and was due to travel overland to Madrid. The police announced two arrests, one in Barcelona and another in Valencia, but did not release any names.
