Two years after the death of second lieutenant of the National drug Control Department Guillermo Antonio Tejeda Kranwinkel, his father, journalist Guillermo Tejeda calls for justice to the murderers of his son. He denounced that networks of drug trafficking continue to infiltrate the DNCD and the police and have impeded the resolving of the case of his son who was murdered when he was chief of the drug trafficking department in Jarabacoa, as reported in El Caribe. "The proven complicity between the police and military, the drug control department and drug traffickers, has impeded the capture of those who murdered my son and the person who ordered the murder of Tejeda," he writes in a note sent to the press on occasion of the 2nd year of the murder of his son.
He said he will not give up in his call for justice against those responsible. He said he cannot accept that "one criminal case kills another case".
Tejeda said it is time to move from words to action, observing that President Leonel Fernandez has said that "in the Dominican Republic nobody will defy justice, no one is going to mock the law nor challenge the state of law."
