The Vicini Group announced it has completed a RD$5.3 million donation for the Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos organization that operates two hospitals and aid centers in Haiti. The funds were secured to assist victims of the Haiti earthquake.
Mark Silverman, executive president of the Banco del Progreso and Laura Calventi, administrative director for Fundacion Inicia de Vicini, coordinated the donation. The funds came from donations by employees of the bank, bank client contributions, and primarily from a Vicini company donation.
