She's moved, again! :eek::up:

From her 3rd location, the 2nd "permanent" one really, to her new location behind, Vince's VI VI Samba bar,
located basically across the street from Four Roses. She is on the side street leading up to "Villas Ana Maria" area on the west side.
Look for the red stars :corky::lol:

This location is better, to me, than the former on Calle Ayunamiento (now named 16 de Agosto)
on the left heading towards Eddy's Sports Bar from Pedro Clisante.

It's a normal to smaller restaurant now but nicer, more intimate and she still had food after 9:00pm!

The food was every bit as good as I remembered! :D I had some Carne de rez with rice, mangu, salad,
and some kick ass potatos for 150 pesos and it was almost too much to eat...and delicioso!;):D

Susana's looking great and seemed pleased to see a familiar face. I had not eaten there much after she moved the last time
so it had been well over a year, closer to two perhaps since we'd last talked. Nice to see that some things never change/ improve with age :)

I definitely recommend the food, like the new place and Susana is a sweetheart so do yourselves a favour and make a point of eating there often! :iconTU::iconTU::iconTU:

pix of the new place coming soon...

I drove by there across from Eddys many times like around late lunch time 1-2 typically after I either got to town or sobered up at Piero and missed the breakfast.

Never seemed to be anybody there. I look forward to checking it out in a couple weeks. Thanks for the info, I noticed the card saying seafood can you expand on that thought. Can never get to much seafood.

Glad you told us it moved. Unless I was staying at Club Residencial, that would have been a very sad, hungry walk to find the old place was closed. She must be doing well...good for her!

She did not seem to be doing very well I would walk by everyday and it would pretty much always be empty.Armondo seems to be getting quite a lot of business,

His location is somewhat better but Susana gets a fair bit of business for Vince's VI VI Samba bar, on the corner and some other local's getting delivery. I know she used to cater the staff's lunch at Caribe Campo everyday as well.

See how easy it is to set up a business in the carport? Fuck the car, leave it outside in the street.

Thanks for the update. Love Susana's. . . real home cooked DR food at a good price. This new place looks a lot nicer and the location is better. Hope she does well.

That is one of my favorite areas in Sosua. Spent a lot of time drinking at all the bars there but never knew about Susanas. I will most definitely check the joint out in June. A nice diversion from all the loud and crowd at Classicos, Merengue etc.

Susana's has moved...again!

It's now located a little before, west of, 4 roses on the same side of the street in the wood front restaurant just before Villa Flor where it was located 3 locations back :D
it's also across the street fro Vince's VI VI Samba Bar.

I noticed on the map a place called Bikes More. Does anyone know if this is a Bicycle rental place, name of a bar, etc?

As far as I know it does not exist and I do not recall seeing it in the last 6 years or so...strange :)

It appears, on the map, to be in the large empty hole across from the sharkbar so it was likely located in the building that was torn down.:rofl:

Walk out the side entrance of Samba Bar, it's a few feet up the block toward's the autopista. I don't know why you guys rave about Susana's other than the price. Only eat the food right @ 12 noon, simple. I get the Dominican trotters from her food more times than I care to share. Unless the food just came outa a da kitchen, it sits @ the wrong temp. all day. BEWARE! tfcm

Knowing what and when to order is the key. The good thing is that it's obvious when her food is bordering on old. At least it is to me.

Susana's is probably my favorite restaurant in Sosua. I eat there all the time when I'm in town.

My favorite restaurant in Cabarete is Sandro's (Dominican food and cheap).

Susana is a cougar I'd like to manoeuvre.......too bad she's married......

Have eaten at Susana's about a half dozen times and am glad to know her new location. Always a GOOD meal from the 5-7 times I have been there.
