Colombian German Eduardo Duque Garcia was sent to jail after being suspect as a partner to Arturo del Tiempo Marques, who was arrested for attempting to smuggle 1,200 kilos of cocaine into Spain.
The District Prosecutor presented to the judge studying the case against Colombian German Eduardo Duque Garcia a list of shipments confiscated to the suspect partner of Arturo del Tiempo Marques. The prosecutors say the list has the same address of the shipment where the drug was confiscated, and is the same for a shipment of 900 kilos that was confiscated a year ago, as reported in Diario Libre.
Diario Libre reports that Prosecutor Alejandro Moscoso Segarra says that Duque Garcia made contact with those that have been arrested in Spain. Duque Garcia admitted he had known Del Tiempo for a while and was introduced to him by a man he identified as Freddy Olivero.
According to the prosecutors, Duque Garcia was involved openly in the international trafficking of drugs and money laundering.
Among the objects confiscated during a search is the list with the shipments registered reportedly at the Caucedo Port were savings account booklets, credit cards, evidence of cash receipts from banks, Colombian passports, airline tickets, a mini laptop and nine cell phones among other articles.
The cell phones would have been used for calls to Arturo del Tiempo.
But Duque Garcia's lawyer says there are not evidence to keep his client in jail.
