Tonight Zoe Saldana, Aventura, Jon Secada, Wyclef Jean will take the stage tonight for the Casandra Awards, the Dominican Grammy Awards. This is expected to be the most star-studded show ever presented to honor the best of Dominican show business. Other stars of the evening are Chichi Peralta, Mariasela Alvarez, Martha Heredia, Cuquin Victoria, Felipe Polanco, Raymond Pozo, Miguel Cespedes, Rita Indiana, Omega, Ilegales, and Roy Tabare among others will have segments in the extravaganza sponsored by Presidente Beer.
The show will be broadcast on 16 March by Telesistema starting at 7pm with the parade of artists on the red carpet, 8pm pre-show and the ceremony is scheduled to start at 9pm and end at 11:30pm, Channel 11. It is regarded as the most seen annual production aired in the DR.
