The Grupo Ramos announced it will open a Multicentro La Sirena, their megastore, at the Galerias 360 shopping mall under construction within the Americana Departamentos shopping center. The Americana is next door to Ikea in Santo Domingo. The La Sirena would be built on an area of 6,100 square meters in the 63,248 square meters lot of the Galerias 360 complex.
Upon making the announcement, Fernando Garcia, executive president of Americana and Galeria 360 said that the mall under construction would have 10 movie halls. The anchor stores now are Americana Departamentos and La Sirena. The mall once completed will have 100 stores in total. Access will be by the John F. Kennedy, Euclides Morillo and Bienvenido Garcia Gautier streets. There will be parking for 1,800 cars.
