An AP news release calls Jose David Figueroa Agosto, the DR's most wanted man and says the search for him has intensified. The news release says the fugitive "has embarrassed both countries since escaping a decade ago from a prison in his native Puerto Rico." As reported, US Marshals spokesman Rafael Escobar classifies Figueroa as "the Pablo Escobar of the Caribbean." Figueroa faces charges of fleeing a Puerto Rican jail where he was serving a sentence of 209 years in jail, travel on a false passport, murder and drug trafficking.
