Cabo Rojo Navy station

The Navy has remodeled and equipped the Navy station at the Port of Cabo Rojo, in Pedernales, near the border with Haiti. The station is considered strategic for the security and defense of Dominican coastal waters. Present at the inaugural were Armed Forces Minister Lieutenant General Pedro Rafael Pena Antonio and Vice Admiral Homero Luis Lajara Sola of the Navy. A medium-size patrol ship, a coast guard ship and a speedboat have been assigned to the Cabo Rojo navy station.
