The chief of the Police Major General Rafael Guillermo Guzman Fermin denied that Orin Clinton Gomez has left the country. He is under arrest at a special cell of the jail of Operations Special of the Police. He has been said to have been responsible for the importing of 1,300 kilos of cocaine that led to the 4 August 2008 murder of seven suspect drug traffickers in Paya, Bani, when the drugs were removed and have not yet been located.
But a judge released charges against him, and there was speculation he had traveled to his home country, Nicaragua.
